Laws, Rules and Regulations on Blasting Substances Used in Fishing



 

 

 

   
  1. Act 2255, 11 February 1913, prohibiting the manufacture, possession and sale of dynamite and other explosives, of their components, without a special permit from the Chief of Philippine Constabulary or Senior Inspector of the province, except in the execution of bona fide engineering and mining work as provided in Section 1 of Act 1499, as amended, and not to apply to the army, navy or marine corps of the United States or the pharmacist, drugstores, laboratories, employing such substances for medicinal and experimental purposes.

  2. Act 3023, 8 March 1922, amending Act 2255, prohibiting the manufacture, distribution, storage, use or possession of gunpowder, dynamite, explosives, blasting supplies or ingredients, except in accordance with the provisions of Act 1499 as amended, provided however, that nothing shall be countered to prevent the manufacture, purchase, import or possess dynamite, explosives or their ingredients by the army and the navy of the United States of America, provided further that the Chief of Philippine Constabulary may, upon application, under such rules and regulations that may be promulgated by him and approved by the Secretary of Interior, shall issue following license namely, Dealer, Manufacturer, Purchaser and Foreman's licenses.
