Who's afraid of municipal waters?
In view of recent developments<link to this issue's coastal_alert.html#1> affecting the delineation of municipal waters in the Philippines, we are reposting this article, which discusses the issues about municipal water use, and explains the legal bases for the content and issuance of Department of Environment and Natural Resources Administrative Order No. 17 Series of 2001 defining the Guidelines for the Delineation and Delimitation of Municipal Waters in the Philippines, better known as DAO 17.
