Features

A Little Less "Bahala Na" in Talibon, Bohol
The fisherfolk of Talibon used to live for the moment, blasting reefs and
poisoning the sea to catch more fish today, seemingly without a care for
the future. Through community organizing and education -- and with plenty
of help from a local government determined to stop illegal fishing -- they
are slowly transforming themselves into a model community able and willing
to sustainably manage their coastal resources.
