ILOM DAVAO CHAPTER HOLDS TRAINING 4/99

ILOM Davao City Chapter shall hold a Facilitator's Training
on April 16-18, 1999 at Lidao, Kaputian, Island Garden
City of Samal. A situationer of coastal resources
management shall be presented by resource persons from
DENR, BFAR, and PCUP-Mindanao ( Presidential Commission
for the Urban Poor ). PCUP's involvement is very
significant since more than 70% of the urban poor in Davao
City are living in the slums communities along the coastal
areas, facing Davao Gulf. The URBANET - Urban Resource
Network of PCUP Mindanao shall spearhead the involvement
of the urban poor communities in the activities of the
